A computer monitor that's on continuously is always a small expense as it consumes electricity, so if you're not using it, you should always turn it off (although the computer is on). But what if you're waiting for a reminder of something specific? One solution is to turn it off and on every few minutes to check but that, ultimately, is even worse. The solution to this problem is this program called Monitor On.

The Monitor On function is as follows: the user predefines a number of texts or types of windows that are waiting and, at the time they're displayed on the screen, then the monitor will turn on automatically.

Thus, with Monitor On you'll always be aware of when you get what you're waiting for, and in the meantime the monitor will be off.
